Innagural NE Young Adult Lock-In

The Northeast Religious Science Young Adult Group is having a Fall Overnight sleep-over in Washington, D.C.

We’d love to have young adults come to D.C. for the FIRST EVER Northeast Young Adult Event!

Friday, November 7, 2008 at 7pm through Saturday, November 8 at 4pm

PURPOSE: Bonding, celebration, and deepening spiritual growth through experiential workshops with other young adults.

WHO: All Religious Science Young Adults 19-30. Previous experience with Religious Science Youth Seminars is valued but not necessary.

WHERE: Washington, D.C. (exact location TBD based on registration numbers)

COST: $30 per person – includes supplies and lunch on Saturday. We will provide breakfast liquids (coffee, black tea, milk and oj) & lunch Saturday and snacks throughout. We will not be serving dinner Friday or Saturday. If you require special food, please bring it.

REGISTRATION: Email india.mckinney@gmail.com no later than Oct. 30, 2008. (I have a registration form I can email you back, but I can't attach it to this).

WHAT TO BRING: P.J.s, toiletries, sleeping bag and pillow, and a non-liquid breakfast item to share. We will be sleeping on the floor, so keep that in mind if you require additional padding.

WHAT NOT TO BRING: drugs, alcohol or weapons.

Side note - There is an Executive Committee meeting happening that same weekend in Santa Rosa on the west coast... Wink

Way to go India for getting this all worked out. I know for you guys huge attendance and wonderful bonding on the other coast. Miss you!

Okay, well, do to a lack of RSVPs, we are postponing this event. Sad

OK so now we just need to get in touch with all the churches on the eastern sea board and make an announcement to them. Have you thought of marketing the lock in directly to the ministers of the churches in say... at least a 100 Mile radius?
